Parasitic jaeger
July 11
Barrow, Alaska
a group of four jaegers seen in Central marsh hunting together. They were off at a distance and I was setting traps and without any binoculars by think these were parasites pair.
July 12
Jim Myers report seeing one jaeger out at the point.
July 15
Pilot Point, Alaska
a pair seen a short distance in back of the camp. Both were seated on a mound but later when the mound was investigated nothing unusual was noticed. One was a dark phased individual.
July 16
In the morning three parasites seen of which two were in the dark phase.
During the day about eight jaegers (parasitic) were seen; no unusual activity observed.
July 17
On an L.V.T. trip to get water samples from two lakes about five miles south west of the station, approximately a half dozen parasites were noticed.
