Stellars Eiders
June 17 Banow, Alaska
A large group of Stellars Eiders seen
on a pond in Central Marsh. The group
consisted of 18 males and 10 females. Later
two more groups of [illegible] stellars were seen.
One of these groups numbered about
twelve and had a male pintail sniped in
the group.
June 20 Large group of stellars numbering
about 25 in size seen in Central Marsh.
Both males and females were present
and much pairing was noticed.
June 22 One pair stellars seen near dump area
in back of Construction camp.
July 6 One male and nine females observed
in oil can dump area behind A.R.k.
building.
