M. Brock Journal 1957 Barrow, Northern Alaska Aug 2 Hares I and II ran in mornings and evenings. Lemmings were processed. Aug 3 Hares I and II ran in morning and evenings. Lemmings from Wainright were processed Aug 4 Hares I and II checked in mornings and evenings. Lemmings from Wainright were processed. Aug 5 Hares I and II checked in mornings and evenings. Lemmings were processed. Aug 6 Checked Hares I and II and picked them up in the mornings. Processed lemmings during the day and prepared for leaving for Wainright tomorrow. Ingridh Dayup shall feed the lemmings that are being raised for Kenowa age skeletons Aug 7 I was ready to leave at 8:00 in the morning for Wainright. The plane was supposed to leave at 9:00. We left Barrow about 10:00. Since there were two other people beside the pilot and myself, most of my equipment and traps had to stay behind.
