Traps XI and XII were set out today and both these areas are extremely inundated; at places the water went over my shoepacks. Line XI is nearly entirely under water, while line XII has a few stakes on wet ground. Various bird skins were prepared and some lemmings processed
July 20. Transects IVA, XI and XII were all checked in morning and evening and 220 lemmings were caught in the traps. One live female lemming was caught by hand.
