Seems entirely absent in forest. WHILEU 35/5/39. Very abundant in area. Evidentially more of a lowland bird. calls vary from Puragues area. Calls here more like Egysaltua chmies to a certain degree. up to 30/5/39. Common everywhere. One of the commonest species. 13/6/39. Excluding abundant about scrubby grass flats of river mouth. 17/6/39. Feeding active much as usual but not as numerous or as Trusting as usual. 19/6/39. Common & usual in behaviour. Feeding much on caterpillars.
