Taken under large rock (dry) 150 feet above gorge. Two very small embryos (one each side) T.e. Dry rocks in woods. Two pairs large inguinal mammae. In woods T.c. Large tick on withers. One pair inguinal, one pair ventral, and 1 pair post axial mammae. Not frequent (post breed?). T.e. Tail damaged. Shot out of "umbrella tree" (Araliaceae, Brass no.). Teeth 4, apparently large, but no young in pouch. Eyes shine with orange glow. On dissection found ovaries; 1 embryo in each horn (?) Trapped in garden. Banana bait. Pouch + mammary glands large. Teeth 8. Tail missing; stump callused over. T.m.e. T.m.e. Tail shortened (healed over). Mammae 1-2. 2 small embryos each side. mammae and m. glands quite small. No embryos. Group of females shot out of coconut midrib. In bat net, 9:30 p.m. No embryos. Shot at dusk in Beech's yard. Along fence line of Beech's food garden at farm. T.e. Among maidenant's coconut trees. T.m.e. Tail shot. No embryos. Mammae. p.,& pr; p.a., 2 pr.; abd. 1 pr.; i. 2 pr. Knocked down by boys with sticks. Both with mammae enlarged and (with one embryo Breeding? Skin destroyed by ants. Skulls only kept. (In woods) T.e. Tail short. T.e. T.m.e. Cut in two by traps. Skulls only saved. (In woods.) (In garden) In maidenant's store. Mammae pairs: p.1; p.a.2; a.1; i. 2, = 12 6 small embryos all on right side (in right tube)
