Macroglossus Dana (Feb. 27) A single specimen caught in bat net early in evening. Maladeras (Apr. 16- ) Three specimens in bat-net; one about 8 o'clock, the other two after 10 p.m. The females of Macroglossus have a ligamentous prebic connection much as in Dobsonia. A tailed macroglossie bat shot in by nature at Palm-Jelm (May). Eight species (one in pickle) altogether. Same species at Black River (shot in leaf 10ft above ground) Sturt Isl. one tailed macroglossus ♂ (Shot at night clying to tip of palm-leaf).
