Dobsonia Darri (Feb.-Mar.) Group of females shot by Rend while resting by day in coconut. Further lot (1♂ 2♀) shot from Coconut tree at night. Later (at 4.30 a.m.) members seen patrolling coconuts by the "shine" of their eyes which give a deep orange light. Only one female had an embryo. A specimen apparently similar to above caught in by natives at Palma Tunuti (early June). Large Dobsonia (seems) shot while feeding on mangos at Melbourn (April). Small Dobsonia brought in at Orville A small species abundantly caught in by natives at Palma Tunuti (May) carried in at Orville Seen at Sigiri in rock grotto. Nyctomera: Large numbers of a large short tailed species and a smaller long-tailed sp., both with spotted wings, some caught in by natives at Palma Tunuti (May-June). Both species at Black R. A much smaller, third species at Orville Stunt Island one large, pale. Seen at Sigiri
