Childs 1958 Location of Transects 14 guy Pitrescaion, 16 mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska The camp was located about 1500 ft. upstream from a sharp bend in the river and about 1/2 mi below the mouth of the Northfork of the Pitresgen. T0-0.0 300' 10.0 005° 050° 100' T1-0.0 100' Inssock Terrace Camp Bar Pool Low Terrace Pitresgen R. Bluff T1-0.0 is marked with a tall stake and two pieces of drift willow, and a rock. Each 500' station has a small stake painted white and each 100' has two such stakes. T2-0.0 is marked with Tall Stake and is 300' towards a gully in the far Cliff. Both transects in well developed Inssock West Readers with E. origination and Bethelmann dominant the latter 12-18" tall and more at that at the base camp.
