We arrived in the Clone Mt's about 4:00 PM, after
a somewhat circuitous drive. Our camp is located
as indicated below.

Summit Pk.
There are ponderosa pines at the camp and on the
east facing ridge just west of us, but higher and
to the south, junior pines predominate. There are
mature hoppers at Quolery aspen spring, as well as
running water. Two Hermit Throsbes were singing at
the spring at about 7:32 PM. The sky was
clear here, and warm in the daytime, although it is
cooling down at night (now 10:10 PM and about 55 of).
May 16
Awoke at 5:20 and had breakfast, etc. Temperature
was 46° at 5:30 AM. I left, headed east
close to the road, at 6:30 Am - see mfp.
