Cote, Blair 1976 Journal 3 mi. N.W. Yuca Valley, San Bernardino Co California September 15 Arrived at 3:30 p.m. and stopped to make in with Bot Moon , drove to Burns Reserve at 4:45 and set up camp at the "campground", leaving at 6:00 pm to set traps - It was a cool, breezy day, about 70°F. The ground was warm, but not wet on the surface. I set traps about the junction of the Pioneertown road and the road to the Burns reserve sec. 20, T1N, R5E. Pioneer town Trap lines Burns Res- erve I set 4 lines of 60 traps each, Three covering all the area south of the road, one the flat north of the road. There was a half moon, but the wind continued throughout the night, about 5 mph. Many traps were set in open blackthorn within occasional junipers. Around the road and North of the road there was more grass
