Canti, Blair 1976 Journal Loni, E Lawr., Inyo Co., California July 20 Lawst OSB STATION N Lone St. wmrs 15° Set 94 Museum special traps about 4.2 mi. N of White Mtn. Res. Sta. This area is a saltbush flat, with considerable mixture of Oalea fremontii. Rodent burrows are scarce, and there is more open ground than at the base of the mtn. just east of the station. There were overcast conditions, which followed considerable rain. I set my traps in two lines N north and east of a dirt trail that continues due west of the Lowe-Poleta Rd. when it veers west towards Lowe. By moon caught 2 D. microps, 1 Sactoma segid, 2 Onydrus leucostes, and 1 Pergathrus longipalpis. August 10 15° Set traps at same location as July 20, however in inverted triangle, with apex at the Lowe-Poleta Rd. base line and bases extending eastward: Lowe-Poleta Rd. N Lawst
