The male flies farther East and North than does the female at this time of year. June 21 This morning at 7:15, I searched for lizards as longsnake food at the E. end of Line Street, but saw nothing. At 8:30 I returned to the 'A Triplex' area described above, and saw many side-blatched lizards. They proved well warmed up and extremely difficult to catch, running under the edge of a bush if you approached within 20 feet, and talking to the center of it if you come closer.
