no dirt. This way not more
insulated them from the floorboard
heat. I'll have to pack the

Sept 26
10 mi. N. Wolf's Hole, Mohave Co. Ariz.
I picked up Dang Yoon in Westwood and
we left at 7:30 a.m. Arrived in Las
Vegas about 1:15 p.m., had lunch there
and arrived in St. George, Utah at
3:15 p.m. We drove south, 9 mi. S. of
Arizona border to 10 mi. N Wolf's Hole.
Day was clear and warm with a slight
breeze blowing. After taking record
photographs we set out 102
10" Sherman live traps, using mixed
seed as bait. We only set at
murray complexes, thereby increasing
our chance of success. We set last
traps at 6:30 p.m., as sun had
set about 6:00. There was no moon
at night, but a breeze continued.
Sept. 27.
This morning we collected traps at
dawn light. The night's catch was:
11 Dipodolys merionis, 19 O. merione,
