I'll have to pack the surviving 18 animals differently on the trip to Berkeley, to assure adequate coal air reaches them! Sept 26 10 mi. N. Wolf's Hole, Mohave Co. Ariz. I picked up Dang Yoon in Westwood and we left at 7:30 a.m. Arrived in Las Vegas about 1:15 p.m., had lunch there and arrived in St. George, Utah at 3:15 p.m. We drove south, 9 mi. S. of Arizona border to 10 mi. N Wolf's Hole. Day was clear and warm with a slight breeze blowing. After taking record photographs we set out 102 10" Sherman live traps, using mixed seed as bait. We only set at murray complexes, thereby increasing our chance of success. We set last traps at 6:30 p.m., as sun had set about 6:00. There was no moon at night, but a breeze continued. Sept. 27. This morning we collected traps at dawn light. The night's catch was: 11 Dipodolys merionis, 19 O. merione,
