Canti, blair 1973 Journal 2 mi. W. Ralkotal Lake, Lander Co., Nev. Dominant plants were = atropis confertifolia and sarcobates (=Greasewood) a salicossia-like plant). I found a rather new 10" sherman at Site 1, Apparently overlooked by some other person after u-outs. By 9:00 AM the sun was hot, at least 80°F. We had breakfast and left for our next trapping site. 5½ mi. NW Shoshone, White Pine Co., Nev. We drove via Hwy 6 and 50 Towrds Ely, arriving about 1:00 PM. In Ely we got some groceries, and stopped in at the BLM office for some maps. Then drove to The pass, some 25 mi. SE on Hwy 6, and stopped to wait for dark and ate dinner. About 5:30 we headed down into Spring Valley, for our intended trapping site, 7 mi. W. Osceola. We arrived and scouted the site at 6:00 PM. Mostly sagebrush and a rocky pavement greeted us at 7 mi. W. Osceola, off of Hwy 6. Walking east and down, to about 6000 ft, we came upon a low lying part of the slope
