Conti, Blair 1973 Journal 10 mi. N Wolf's Hole, 5400 ft., Mohave Co. Ariz. July 28 The type locality described by Goldman must be inaccurate. We will stay here to trap tonight. The weather was mid 90's and quite windy in the afternoon. Moon was 1/2 full, rose about midnight; wind died down during night. At dawn we collected traps, caught The following: 11 Dipodomys merriami, 3 D. merriami, 6 Perognathus longimolus, 3 P. penicillatus; 3 Neotoma lepida and 2 Onychomys sp., Total 28 animals. Broke camp at 10:00 A.M., after caging live animals and collecting 1 bag of green plant material. Drove through St. George and Santa Clara to Moapa, Nev. There to get gas; then we drove back 4.7 mi. N. of Utah border to road leading to Tarey Ranch. W. Slope Beaverdam Mts., 3600 ft., Washington Co., Utah. The B.L.M. has put in many rocks into the area since our map was made. We headed towards Beaverdam Mtn until coming on a U.S.G.S. Elevation marker.
