Couti, Black 1973 Journal July 20 Kyll Cyn., 5000', Clark Co., Nev. Picked up traps shortly after sunup. Catch = 7 Perognathus (6 longemulus, 1 ?) & Meotoma lepida; 1 Brousscus moniculata, 3 Dipalonyx merriani. Soil in This locality was quite rocky desert pavement, rocks about 1" dia average. 10 mi. N. Wolf's Hole, 3900', Mohave Co., Ariz. Left Jos Vegas at 4:00 PM, after getting gas, drove to St. George, arriving at 11:00 AM Pacific Time. We stopped in at the B.L.M. office and got a map of S.W. Utah showing the roads to the Beaverdam Mts. There is a 2-wheel-drive road to the trapping site described in the literature. Then proceeded south on SR 64 from St. George. The pavement ends at the arizona border. We went to 10 mi. N. Wolf's Hole and stopped at a flat with Yucca (2ft high) and blackbrush. Soil were reddish and only slightly rocky. Road quite level - no ruts. We also drove to 6 mi. N. Wolf's Hole, but it was 5000ft high and much rivers - junipers short, steep slopes.
