J Crowley 1941 May 7 Russian Gulch State Park, Meadowland C. Calif. Elevation 50 ft. 1:30 PM of bright sun - shiny day. Immature ? Microtus res- cued from a garter snake on grass in front of Camp 2 mile from ocean. Prepared by slitting up ventral side and packing in formalin - snail was dead and mutilated by snake's jaws by time it was fixed. May 29 Eled 45 ft, grassy meadow riparian habitat just west of Camp 27, 14 trapped with 6 21mm each.
