J. Cronk 1941 2 Journal May 28 Crescent Ditch State Park, Mendocino Co., Calif. I found that the trail ascended west- ward halfway to the ocean, then dropped from suddenly to emerge from the Dense redwood, Douglas Fir, and Sequoia to the creek which runs through the bottom of the canyon. The trail ended at its westernmost point just below i.e. camp. After dinner (we) returned from our hike at 6:05 PM) we Cord a trapline of 23 traps west of camp in the same habitat as that of preceding night. The weather today was pleasant, warm, but slightly clouded and misty at 10:00. Then it cleared rapidly for the after- noon. May 29 Crescent Ditch State Park, Mendocino Co., Calif. Of the 23 Mexican Species Grape scorpion preceding night 6 had activities. 2) Mammals and 1 found 1 Meratus sp? in the middle of a grassy meadow just 40 ft from the creed.
