May 27 Queeni Gulch State Park, Mendocino Co., Calif., elev 200 ft. 23 mouse traps set, 1 Sorex pacificus, 2 other catches, from margin of grassy meadow bordered by Bishop Pine, Thimbleberry, Blackberry, Redwood, Alder. May 31 Elev 200 ft. 23 mouse traps set about border of grassy slope bordered by Bishop Pine, Cypress, Redwood, Douglas Fir, Lowland Fir, Huckle- berry, Blackberry. 1 Sorex pacificus, 1 Sorex vagrans
