May 25 Clear Creek State Park, Mendocino Co. Calif., elev 750 ft.
1/2 mile from camp in redwood grove, 1 spc -
man trapped about 50 ft from creek.
May 26 200 ft elev, southwest corner of park, along old
road through thimbleberry thicket and low-
land, Douglas Fir - 3 found in Museum speci.
May 27 200 ft elevation in pine forest with grassy and
blackberry undergrowth, southwest corner of
park, 9 C. maculatus. Found
in grassy place
May 28 45 ft elevation just west of Camp 27, along
margin of thimbleberry thicket. 30 more in
plains trapped. Dryarian habitat.
May 29 9 Cromyopus maculatus, 50-60 ft from creek.
