Elevation 40 feet. 4 mile east of ocean
on road leading east through canyon.
6 specimens trapped in area just on
north bank of creek at border of grass-
land and bushes - elderberry, thimble-
berry (x). 6 out of 23 traps (from which we
also got 1 shrew and 1 Zapus).

canyon.. 6 out of 23 traps of which 11
whole were occupied; 4 sprung with no
catch, rest empty and sprung.

35 Peromyscus caught west of complex riparian
habitat - 3 out of 22 traps set, of which 10 had
catches
