Neotoma fuscipes
May 26 Jacomini Gulch State Park, Mendocino Co., Calif.
Elev 200 ft. southwest corner of park on
wooded slope (Douglas Fir; Lowland Fir
and Spruce, Red Alder; near old road. Mature
female 10 ft from nest in rat trap. She
was near same nest as immature g which
was slightly mangled about abdomen. Just
50 feet away, south of road_, was another
nest where we found mangled remains- for,
intestinal tract - of another woodrat.
