Coysewell 1950 "Journal" 28' July 7 (cont.) 0515 - white crowned sparrow not singing now. 0520 - observers moved upslope into forest. Ruby-crowned Kinglet } singing there when a Oregon Junco { we arrived. we also saw the Hermit Thrush singing from 15 ft down, on outer edge of canopy of a tall red fir. 0530 1/2 - 2 birds seen flying over (sp?) 0532 - olive-sided Flycatcher - sang 0527 - Pine Siskin - flew over, calling. observers moved W. to lower N slope of Crow's Nest Peak, crossing an alder-lined stream enroute. New post in forest again. 0530 - Cassin's Finch - song heard enroute to 0532 - " " - individual singing new post.) 0535 - Venus still visible 0537 - observers moved on W in direction of hypothetical Pine Grosbeak (which turned out to be Cassin's Finch song). 0540 min. Chickadee - call heard. End of Record of Chorus - Golden-crowned Kinglet - song heard enroute back thru forest. Warbling Vireo - song heard in willows. 0602 - Sun rose on lower (N) end of Cowgill meadow,
