Cogswell 1950 Passer domesticus June 19 Truckee Nevada to Calif - 1 pr. at R.R. Station. June 25 Sierra Valley, 4900 ft., Sierra to Plumas Co., Calif common in Sierraville & at ranch buildings well scattered thru open grassland & sagebrush thence N to Beckworth & Vinton. June 27 vicinity of Reno & vicinity, S to Steamboat Springs July 12 and Pleasant Valley Washoe Co., Nevada - common July 36 in town & all along highway thru ranch district. July 24 Truckee, 5820 ft. Nevada to Calif - flock of about 10 noted flying up to store fronts across street from R.R. Station. This town, some 7 1/2 mi E of Donner Pass is the closest point to that mountain barrier at which I have noted the species on the east. None have been seen between here and Verdi, Nevada; and none along Highway 40 in the conifer belt on the W side of the Sierra,
