1104 - adult reappeared in fir adjacent to Nest tree.
flitting its wings, no call given
1110 - flew to dry stick area on ground in edge of
opening; hopped about there flitting wings &
raising tail slowly a few times.
1110 1/2 - flew back up to tree next to Nest tree
1112 - called "chuk" once, is moving about in
deaf fir branches at lower edge of canopy.
1114 - ad. now in branches on opposite side of & above
Nest in Nest tree. Flitting wings, raising
tail. No calls given.
1117 - still to same. Hammond Hylotila calling
"chuk" "pip" from high up in Nest tree.
1119 - Observers moved 40 ft. farther down slope
1120 - ad. now in N tree again, flitting wings; silent
1121 - moved closer, now behind trunk on level
north West
1122 - hopped onto Nest branch 4 ft. proximal
of Nest,
1122 1/3 - ran down branch to Nest
feeding of young occupied about 30-40 sec.
1123 - run back up (proximally) on Nest branch
to 3 ft from nest, flitted wings several
times.
1124. flew across 50+ ft. opening to white pine.
