Cogswell 1950 Telmatodytes palustris July 9 - S. end Lake Tahoe, 6230 ft., Eldorado Co., Calif. - I seen & heard singing in tall tule area of the extensive marshlands here (E. of Camp Richardson). A nest was found nearby, apparently a completed one (lined), but it was empty over water. The side opening & position of the nest, seem to identify it as this species; and since the material of what it was built seems weathered, I conclude that it has been used & brood brought off already.
