Aug.6 N. end Washoe L., 5010 ft, Washoe Co., Nev. - about 10 at a small pond in the now drying marshes NW of lake. Aug.7 E. side Boca Res. 5560 ft, Nevada Co, Calif - many present — including 2+ birds of the year. Aug 15 L Van Norden, 6760 ft., Placer -Nevada Co, Calif.- 1 adult & 1 imm. (either bird of year ora 1 yr old).
