foraging in shallow water near SE shore.
aug. 23 8+ in the same area. The lake is now
reduced to a weed-filled (Botamogeton,
Polygonum amphibium, etc.) slough which is
swarming with invertebrate life.
The stilts, apparently, did not nest nearby,
