Aug.9 Reno area, 4500ft, Washoe Co., Nev. - 2 on lawn of Idlewild Park, + several (on 5th) in wet grassland (farms) E -> SE of town. Aug.9 Little Washoe L., 5020 ft, Washoe Co., Nev.- about 20 seen along NE -> E shores of the main lake (S arm now nearly dry). Aug.17 Little Truckee R. 3 mi. E, 5+mi. N Hobart mills Sierra Co. Calif - 1 on gravelly stream bank in broad valley - the bottom of which is grassland, tho slopes sagebrush. Aug.21 Crosser Cr., 5650ft, 1 1/4 E, 3 1/2 mi. N Truckee, Nevada Co. Calif. - 2 in similar, but smaller, stream -> valley. Aug.23 Reno - about 5 on Idlewild Park lawn. Little Washoe L., 5020ft, Washoe Co., Nev. - only 5 or 6 along same area in which 20 found on Aug.9! The invertebrate life along the water's edge is very abundant, yet numbers of this sp. seems to have dropped off.
