June 27 Little Washoe Lake, 5020 ft., Washoe Co., Nev. - at least 2 pairs
were on the open part of this 30 acre lake when we
arrived on shore with 4 autos. They flew off to the
marshy S arm along with the many Redheads.
[None seen here on 4 subsequent visits
during summer; hence, above were
probably stragglers]
