Aug. 23 Little Washoe Co., 5020 ft., Washoe Co., Nev. - about 10 in 2 small groups (later all together) among am. Egrets in shallow weed filled central part of pond, 5 other along mud clods by ditch dredged out in 1948. These, the first seen here this year, are much later than the first post breeding visitors in 1948 (July 9,29)
