Cogswell 1949 Felis concolor Dec.22 3200 ft. ridge between Little Dalton & Monroe canyons, NNE Glendora, L.A.Co., Calif.. A cat trail in the mud & moist earth of the firebreak & truck trail was examined carefully because of the size of the prints. From the mid point of the foot pad at the back, to the anterior end of the longest toe measured 3 1/4 inches. no claw marks even in mud. 3 1/4 inches Deer tracks were plentiful along the same route, which runs along the W. boundary of the San Dimas Experimental forest.
