- Sequoia Regional Park, Oakland, Alameda Co. Caly.
We ate lunch at about 12:20 - 12:40 at
look out point at edge of dense grove of small
redwoods. Then walked until about 1:15 P.M.
we hiked a 1/2 mile or so down w. side of
hill to small canyon, along the "contoured
bridle trail" back to lookout point. Most
notable birds were abundant Varied Thrushes.
