Chamaea fasciata
2.
Dec. 26 (cont.) directly against the ridge whence
the birds sang. This whole scene
seems to be not conducive to song;
but there they were, and it was at this
same spot which Taylor & Mall said
they heard a poor will call on Dec. 27,
1947.
1949
Jan. 13 - near Life Sciences Bldg., Univ. of California, Berkeley,
alameda Ca. Calif. - Full song of the male
type heard early in afternoon — the
first, since before the recent 2 weeks
of very cold weather. It is much
warmer this P.M., with scattered high
cumulus clouds.
