Sayornis nigricans
Apr. 24: Arroyo Mocho "wash", 4± mi. SE Livermore Alameda Co., Calif. A pair here have nest within a barn. It is situated on side of a beam in the "cellar" of the barn, which is open to the outside by about 6 windows. I climbed thru one of these, & by standing on a bucket could just reach in the nest, which contained one egg.
