Cogswell 1948 Falco peregrinus Dec. 21. 4 mi. E, 1 1/2 mi. S. of Port Hueneme, Ventura Co., [illegible] in full adult plumage was perched in top of eucalyptus trees along Caspar Road. A turkey vulture was perched nearby in another tree top; when it took off it sailed close by the duck hawk which then flew -- but without either bird making any overt act toward the other.
