Lake Co., Calif. A single bird in immature
(with reddish-brown breast) plumage flew south.
south-westward over chaparral slopes
above ranch house area. It circled a
few times, but maintained an altitude
of approximately 300 feet & passed on
out of sight — apparently migrating.

Solano Co., Calif.
1 in ? plumage passed over highway at
height of 60-70 ft. & went up over oak-
glassland hillside.
