Dec. 18. Tomales Bay, Marin Co., Calif. - commoner here than any place I've ever been, an estimated 200 seen, the vast majority of them in 4 plumage. A favorite feeding ground seemed to be in coves along NE shore of Tomales peninsula inside the sand bar at mouth of bay.
