Cogswell 1948 Anas carolinensis creee 1 oct.24 San Pablo Reservoir, 300 ft., Contra Costa Co., Calif. at least 8, including 3+ males, were seen among ducks feeding in shallow end of lake in mid-PM; and many more may have been among flocks of ducks on far shore. 1949 Feb.5 - about 6 mi. E of Woodland, Yolo Co., Calif. - 100+ among the larger flock of pintails on partially flooded plowed field - the only teal seen all day on trip from delta region W. of Stockton to Sacramento, here, and Marysville. 1950 Feb.16 San Dimas Canyon Reservoir, San Gabriel Mts., 1450 ft L.A. Co., Calif. - 1♂ on sandy delta at head of reservoir, with 13 mallards (g.v.) (see southern California notes; this item transferred to it).
