SE Gustine Merced Co., Calif.- a single individual seen flying over marshy country at S. end of "Club 14"; and about an hr. later a flock of 10 was flying near the same place. 1 ft., State Game Refuge, NE Los Banos, Merced Co., Calif. - about 15 in a flock on one of the oxbow ponds near N end of refuge. elev. < 5 ft. 1950 Jan. 22 - 9 mi.
