Cogswell 1949 Baffinus bulleri -2 July 6 - Pt. Pinos, Monterey Co., Calif. - one or more seen (2 different times) again this evening between 7:15 - 7:35 P.M. They stand out from the Sooties like a beacon because of the gray upperparts. Dark wing tips are not so conspicuous against the dark water of the swells, but show up well against the water which is catching the reflection of the late PM. sun.
