Herring Gull - about 5 seen
California Gull - " 50 seen, mostly in
one flock about 3 mi. off St. Rinos.
Heermann's Gull - 1 im. on beach in harbor.
Common Murre - 2 seen, both between
mouth of bay + 3 mi. out of it.
Pigeon Guillemot - about 20 seen, all
within 3 mi. offshore, several well
within the bay.
Hummingbird sp.? - 10+ seen flying northward
across mouth of bay; between it &
mi. farther offshore than St. Rinos
- Santa Cruz line.
Return trip to so. Calif. this p.m.
