Apr. 4 - 90 ft., 3 mi. SE Justice, Merced Co., Calif. - Detoured this p.m.
here from town of Justice to look over the lands of
Justice Land & Cattle Co. which the ornithology class
visited on Dec. 10-11, 1949. All we could do this
time was look from the public road running East
past the gun club headquarters; but for compar-
son with the list recorded in December, the following
were seen here today:
White Pelican - 4

Great Blue Heron - 1

Snowy Egret - 1
White Faced Glossy Ibis - 40+

after dark from Los BaƱos to here. This area is a
very flat gentle slope with almost no vegetation.
