Christman, G.M. Empidionas 11 June Hidden Forest Canyon, 8,200 ft., Sheep Range, Clark Co. here Fletcher & I went up canyon to a flycatcher nest in a fir in the stream bottom. A bird was on the nest. Another flew to a 4 ft. fir 25 ft. from the nest-- 2 shot this bird (GMC 987) and the bird on the nest flew to firs over its body. I left and Dick collected the bird = _______. About 100 yds farther up stream I was watching a flycatcher when it dead launched from a perch in a mature fir and chased & fought another flycatcher-- they were tumbling on the ground in front of me -- 10 ft+ when I shot them with the .38 aux. These are my numbers = 988 & ad, small ava and 989 ? ad, testes 5x3mm, no feet. The latter was shot to death.
