Co., Calif. while standing in clump of low brush and
willows a small immature came running down
a path toward me. Miles and Anderson had just
walked by this area in the opposite direction. Upon
my give at the rabbit it took cover in a
small dense shrub. It was captured by hand.
A tunnel-form was found close to where
the rabbit was first seen - no fresh feces or
indications of a nest could be located
at this spot or in the surrounding brush.
