Journal 27. "dolerite hill" 28 "Log chute, near Arcade Mill" down steep hill - j? - ? no bush unless short carpet - fairly dense forest - new dark. 29. "Reservoir" across foreground 30. Tailpiece a very nice little drawing - This is an excellent set of fairly detailed pen/ink drawings made on board which appears to be like scratch board though heavier - has been coloured. There is no date anywhere. The ink drawings (viz. note p.6) claim that they were made later from sketches prepared in the field.
