Mother Lode Trip This has been a bright clear day with no clouds 64.6 Atlaerville #49-4 67 rolling parkland - at least along the highway line oaks, P. saliciana & Q labata elsewhere in view = woodland. only effects P. ponderosa 69.2 San Domingo Cr. green stone - serpentine ? afew bare areas, others cleared for they are littered with stumps. 70.8 San Antonio Cr. 71. Parkland being cleared - burnt for grasses - meadows. 73.2 Calaveritas Cr. woodland The hills & the west are woodland with camfers - this area is sloping up to the east. - parkland - woodland. 75.5 San Andreas clean, one of the most contemporary of all the Mother Lode towns). Angles Camp is old, cluttered Many P. salicina, live oaks & tombstones. afew bare hillsides 80.2 N. fork of the Calaneias River along this road are many sharp edges shutting the grasslands - from the woodlands. Down hill = afew lone good sized sugar & ponderosa Pines into Pure woodlands, more camfers in the woodland
