W. of town & 1 mi. S. of city limits - Napa, Napa Co. on to Hwy #12 - Jameson Canyon Road- 2 mi. E. of junction with 29 photos of board fences & changed film - new Roll. 960 - Solano Co. line - more fences & old ranches - 4 dead shrubles on road photo 4 - N from Benicia - Hwy 40 turn off. Entire region with cornulus clands. 964 - Hwy 21. 5,966 photo to E. ; 6 Mt Diablo, 7 & 8 SW and W at 969. 9 oaks & leucases. 977 Benicia, Solano Co. S. of here the hills across straits are covered with oaks - this a strange old town - it perhaps has some interesting possibilities - like the R.R. station. - photos W down the Carquiny Straits - ( 980) 994 Turned off 7 freeway from Vallejo & up the Pinline Road - the S. slopes are woodland brush live oaks, parian oak & large Baccharis while the N. slopes are open grasslands with spotty oaks mainly in the draws. There are many areas where these two shrubs are invading the grassy areas - photo # 10 997 at junction of Pinline Valley Rd. & Castro Rd. also at 998 on Castro Rd. 11, # 12 & 13 more of parian oaks & Baccharis - 1/2 mi. W. 146 5E up a hill & 15 to NE of grassy area
