Red Cluff, Tehama Co. south on Highway #99 E.
698 The escarpment starts to the NE of here
and continues almost S.E. The
under land is evident again.
This highway is lined with locust
trees here, though only the rare tree is
in bloom - all are in this new leaf.
Eucalyptus & palms show up
also walnut and fruit orchards.
Ivy comes in creek beds & also planted
about buildings. The English Walnuts
are about the only trees not in leaf now.
56,705 Antelope Creek
parkland of large oaks except oak
lines creek less. Black walnuts with
hanging catkins.
This is an area of small ranches -
pastures for S & E.
a large red and white Meninute barn

Tehama (wine ?) Road wheeled came in
last Wednesday.
